I booked the Landrover experience for my husband’s 50th birthday. The staff were very friendly the facilities were great and there was free tea and coffee before and after the experience. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the hour driving around the quarry and lanes. It was great that they allow passengers to sit in the back. Rachel was lovely and made it a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend Avalanche Adventures.

Visited this week with my family and had a fantastic time clay pigeon shooting and doing a quad bike safari. The gear is all of an incredibly high standard, as is the tuition and guidance we received. We are already making plans to return at least once a year to try out something new!! Thanks for a great day out, looking forward to heading back soon.

Took two grandchildren for a clay-shooting taster. Went mid-week during the easter holidays so no crowds. Very well organised, clean and tidy. Good spectator area (ear defenders provided). Instruction was excellent. Result, two happy boys.

Arrived at the venue, very clean and well managed, Met by a very friendly instructor who talked through safety whilst walking up to the Shooting Range we were then join by a second instructor, We had a Gun fitting as we had 2 guys and 4 girls all novices and never shot before, we had the 50 clay shoot which covered all 5 different ranges 10 clays on each style, I must say we had a lot of fun and after the first initial couple of shots soon settled into competition mode it was a great event and everyone agreed it is something we will go back and do again, maybe the 100 clay round next time. 5 stars all round the instructors couldn’t have done anything else to make sure we enjoyed it.

An absolute hidden gem this one. They have lots of different activities going on all the time; clay pigeon shooting, archery, hovercraft and all manner of off road vehicles (wheeled or tracked) to play with. On this particular visit my friends and I took a leisurely cruise around the site on a quad safari. Although none of our group had ever ridden before we were shown the ropes and taken around s test track to bring us up to speed. The actual safari was great fun as the terrain varies throughout and by the time we’d finished we all felt a lot more confident and could quite happily have played all day. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anybody, whether you’re a couple looking for an unconventional date or a group of friends with a competitive streak.

Came for a lads weekend away, we did the Argo Cat (amphibious vehicle), off road buggying, quad biking and shooting. Would definitely recommend for a stag doo or something similar but would also be suitable for families. The staff on site are great and let you get stuck in after giving you a safety talk and instruction on your activity. If you have a sensible approach to the activities you will get a lot out of your day. We are now planning our next trip for later in the year!

Great customer service prior to the activity – great welcome and good facilities. We were surprised by the range of activities available. Robin and Rachel attended to our needs and the activity ran like clockwork, with adequate but not excessive safety training, leaving lots of time for fun and even a brief inter-family competition at the end. We will certainly go back – 4×4 looks great, as does quad biking.
Great Customer Service and very welcoming. The Giant Jigsaw and Blindfold driving are especially challenging and are loads of fun. The buffet was very good loads of selection and the Victoria sponge was amazing. Would definitely come again.
A group of us went to Avalanche Adventure on a girls day out and we decided to do the Gemini Race Buggies. We all got a long practice session and then we went into a pursuit style race to see who get the best time. It was great fun and definitely would recommend to those petrol heads out there.
We fancied doing something completely different than the normal quad biking or clay shooting. So we decided to have ago at the DTV Shredders. They are a unique and challenging extreme activity. We got a full hour on these quirky machines, my sides hurt from laughing so much. The Instruction was great and very easy to follow. We all had safety gear on and Bluetooth helmets so that the instructor could keep in contact with us. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants something more challenging. Will definitely be coming back.
